Yoga Mat

I have tried many yoga mats in my day and this is by far my favourite. It's a little thicker than most but not heavy and has a nice grip.

18 " Foam Roller

This one is my favorite for rolling class. It's the least intense (but still pretty intense). I find 18" is wide enough.

Nice and compact for storing.

From time to time we will massage the feet in Stretch class. A tennis ball works fine. My favorite is this Pinky Ball. The Granville Island Toy Company carries them.

This is the book I sometimes quote  in class. It teaches the fundamental elements of meditation. It is short and concise but with so much depth. Truly transformational.

I love this foam block! It has a nice jean material cover. Great for cushioning the knees when on all fours and using as a pillow.

This one is the traditional 36". It can be picked up locally at Relaxus.com, on Powell St near Clarke Drive. I don't think there's a need for one this wide, but you may prefer it.

If you're buying just one I recommend

getting the 6". If possible have 2 balls for class. Will need a pump.

These weights are a great idea!

You can make them from 1lb. to 5lbs.

So you can increase the weight as you get stronger. They are neoprene so should be comfortable.
