Yoga Mat

for all classes

Lole Yoga Mat

on Amazon

I have tried many yoga mats in my day and this is by far my favourite. It's a little thicker than most but not heavy and has a nice grip.

for Stretch/Pilates

Foam Block

Covered Foam Chip Block

at Sportchek

I love this foam block! It has a nice jean material cover. Great for cushioning the knees when on all fours and using as a pillow.

Outdoor Lounger

for fun :)

Blow-up Lounger

on Amazon

Whenever I'm out on my lounger everyone asks me where I got it, so here it is. So comfy and convenient!

I call it my hotdog bun because it's like a bun and I am the hotdog.

Best thing I ever bought!

18 " Foam Roller

for Rolling Class

White Foam Roller

on Amazon

This one is my favorite for rolling class. It's the least intense (but still pretty intense). I find 18" is wide enough.

Nice and compact for storing.

36" Foam Roller

for Rolling Class

White Foam Half Roller

in Vancouver

This one is the traditional 36". It can be picked up locally at Relaxus.com, on Powell St near Clarke Drive. I don't think there's a need for one this wide, but you may prefer it.

for Rolling Class

18" High Density Foam Roller

Black Foam Roller

on Amazon

If you like a more intense massage, this one will be more intense than the white one, the foam is more dense.

Pinky Ball

for Stretch Class

Pinky Ball for Rolling the Feet

at Granville Island

From time to time we will massage the feet in Stretch class. A tennis ball works fine. My favorite is this Pinky Ball. The Granville Island Toy Company carries them.

Massage Ball

for Rolling Class

Body Rolling Ball

ships from Langley

Comes in 3 sizes, 5", 6" & 7"

The smaller the more intense.

If you're buying just one I recommend

getting the 6". If possible have 2 balls for class. Will need a pump.

Yoga Blocks

for Stretch Class

Yoga Blocks

on Amazon

Place under the hands for comfort and extra support with balance and stability when in a stretch or pose. Optional, not essential.

for Stretch/Pilates/Core

Thera-bands

Therabands

on Amazon

A set of 3 therabands. We use these in Stretch, Pilates and Core classes. Not essential but good to have.

for Weights Class

Ankle Weights

Nike Neoprene Ankle Weights

from Sportchek

I love these ankle weights, they're soft and comfortable. I suggest getting the 5lbs (each). They may feel a bit heavy at first but you will quickly gain strength.

Expandable Ankle Weights

for Weights Class

Adjustable Ankle Weights

on Amazon

These weights are a great idea!

You can make them from 1lb. to 5lbs.

So you can increase the weight as you get stronger. They are neoprene so should be comfortable.

Stillness Speaks Book

on Amazon

This is the book I sometimes quote  in class. It teaches the fundamental elements of meditation. It is short and concise but with so much depth. Truly transformational.

Fun Book

on Amazon

A fun and entertaining book with good

advice on how to be thoughtful and

considerate person. Great for young people! (I gave it to my teenage son - tee hee)

Deep Bath Cover

on Amazon

If you love having baths as much as I do then you'll love this gadget. Put it over the bath drain and it makes your bath inches deeper and keeps it quiet, no water trickling.
