Time for a Check-In.

While the holiday season can be a wonderful time of good cheer, it’s also easy to get caught up in the frenetic energy of preparing, over-stressing, and over-indulging. We often focus on everyone else and forget to take care of ourselves—especially moms.
So let’s do a little mid-season check-in.
Are You:
Overeating? Remember—be choosy. Be picky. Eat the good stuff. More is not better.
Over-stressing? This time of year makes it very easy to slip into a constant state of frenzy.
Skipping self-care? Pilates, stretching, hydration—are you go, go, go all day trying to get everything done?
It’s Not Too Late for a Reset
If any of this sounds familiar, it’s not too late to hit pause and come back to yourself.
Here are a few simple ways to reset:
Pause and breathe. Seriously. Take a deep breath… then another… then another. Long inhale, long exhale. You’d be surprised how much this helps.
Make time for movement. A short walk or a few minutes of stretching counts. It doesn’t have to be a full workout—just get out of your head and into your body to shake off the holiday chaos.
Balance the treats. Add fruits, veggies, and lean proteins for an energy boost. Remember to Yin and the Yang.
You don’t have to say yes to everything. Not every invite. Not every gift exchange. Listen to your inner voice—what do you want?
Protect your sleep. Getting enough rest is your best defense against holiday burnout.
Most of all, remember to enjoy the season too.
Taking care of yourself is part of the celebration!
